About Mingler

Mingler is an ice-breaker app.

The event administrator will set up a list of categories, an optional list of discussion questions, and the date & time of the event.

Each participant will be given a randomly selection of the categories. The participant will have to find someone who fits that category. For example, if the category is Taller Than Me, the participant must find someone taller than they are.

When a participant finds a match, the match will scan a QR code on the participant's device. The match will then be presented with a discussion question to get a conversation going with the participant.

If the match is satisified that they meet the category criteria, they then can then give the participant credit for finding the match.

Once someone has found matches for a certain percentage of their target categories, they will have the opportunity to fetch more categories.

Events can be configured to have a leaderboard which shows the participants who have gathered the most matches.
